Expert Freeride

We’ve taken our super popular Comp 95, added a V5 brake kit and beefed it up for freeriding with 9" T2 tires giving it extra ground clearance and more forgiveness on rougher terrain, making it the ultimate freeride board. The Comp 95X comes with Matrix trucks, the cornerstone truck of mountain boarding and high speed land kiting, providing on the fly adjustability to find that sweet spot between maneuverability and stability at higher speeds. MBS’ V5 brake kit allows you to access steeper, more difficult terrain, single track trails and makes it ski resort compliant. This burly board is topped off with our brand NEW F4 bindings!

PowerLam Composite Decks (PLC)

PowerLam Composite construction is a time tested construction technique, combined with current composite technology. Powerlam decks consist of a horizontal laminate core made from several wood veneers. Different types of veneers are strategically placed throughout the deck to yield the optimum performance required for that type of deck. Fiberglass is then added to the lay-up to increase the strength to weight ratio. MBS concentrates fiberglass layers as close to the top and bottom layers as possible as this is where the bending stresses are at the highest. Powerlam decks come predrilled for F-series bindings and MBS grab handles.

MBS F4 Bindings

A new standard has arrived - the MBS F4 Binding! The F4 binding is similar in concept to the F3, but so much better. Some of the details riders will love most are the new ladder tunnels that trap excess ladder strap to prevent pant-leg hang-ups and the two-point ratchet connections that eliminate ratchet swivel for the most solid binding feel possible. The newly contoured compression-molded EVA underside provides the perfect blend of grip, comfort, and control. And if that isn't enough, the look of this binding alone is worth the upgrade. We've even used internal mounting T-nuts to keep the mounting hardware as clean and low profile as possible. To ride them is to love them. Find out for yourself.
