Shock Cord, sometimes referred to as bungy, is a black, nylon covered, strong elastic cord used for tensioning the sail at wing tips and spines of various stunt kites and single line kites. It is available in 2 popular sizes, 3/32? and for larger applications, 1/8?. The 1/8? is also used for securing the flying line in place on card winders.
